About Me

Hello there! I’m Kathryn, I live in Los Angeles, and I love to tell stories.

I’m a lady from a little podunk Nevada town who has always dreamed of that big-city livin’. I grew up road-tripping with my parents with every opportunity we were given, seeing magnificent scenery and being immersed in new places. My dad is notorious for unabashedly sharing stories with anyone who would take time to listen. As embarrassed as I pretended to be talking to strangers, I absolutely loved to learn what experiences shaped their lives, no matter how small. I mean, whether or not it’s all a coincidence, isn’t it still so amazing and beautiful to see how we’ve all gotten to be who we are in the places we are at?

As I grew older, my desire to continue experiences places and having others share their story with me only got more powerful. I decided to pursue journalism at the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno so I could continue traveling and sharing the unique experiences of those who are kind enough to share them with me.

Anyway, when I’m not working I am usually found petting any dog I can find (or snuggling my own little angel), jumping in my car/catching a plane to anywhere else, or on the hunt for the world’s best cup of coffee (it’s not unusual for all of these things to overlap).

If you’d like to know more about my professional life and abilities, take a look at my résumé. If you’re interested in my life, read my blog. If you want to chat about any of the previous two things or literally anything else, feel free to shoot me a message.
